Inquiring about Photography Services
01. Let’s Connect
You’re engaged! Congratulations! Most of my couples prioritize booking photography shortly after securing their date/venue. Once you have submitted your inquiry, I will respond promptly to set up a phone call to get to know each other. After we’ve had a chance to gush over your proposal and wedding vision, I’ll go over the details and answer all of your questions.
Making it Official
02. Booking
Once you are ready to officially secure your date, you will receive a password protected Client Portal. You will be able to keep track of important documents, questionnaires, and invoices all in one place. I require a signed contract and your first payment to officially put your event on my calendar.
Timeline and Important Details
03. Planning
During the time leading up to your wedding day, we will be in touch frequently. If you have booked an engagement session, we will schedule that as soon as possible so you can use those images for your wedding website, save the dates, or invitations. As the day gets closer, we will review your timeline together.

04. Your wedding day
All the planning we did in advance ensures that your wedding day will be relaxing, fun, and stress-free. I always arrive early to walk around the venue, get a feel for the weather and light that day, and introduce myself to your planner or coordinator. I promise to love your family as my own, have a blast hanging with your bridal party, and make you feel amazing in front of the camera.
When to Expect Images
05. After Your Big Day
It’s so hard to wait for photos when the moments are fresh in your mind! I want you to have amazing, high-quality images to share right away (though everyone loves a good selfie) and will send a small sneak peek gallery within 24 hours. The rest of your images will follow in 4-6 weeks.
Designing your Custom Album
06. Your Album and Prints
If your wedding collection includes an album, or you have decided to purchase one separately, the next step is simple. After you receive your gallery, all you have to do is favorite your top 75-100 images and I will take care of the rest. You will receive a design proof to review, select your custom cover, and request changes if necessary.

01. How many weddings do you accept per year?
I accept a maximum of 12 weddings per year. This ensures I can devote myself to each individual couple from start to finish. Additionally, I never book more than one wedding per weekend.
02. I want natural looking photos but I’m awkward in front of the camera. Help?
I promise to get you out of your head and into your comfort zone to ensure being photographed feels fun, natural, and easy. I use a combination of gentle posing and verbal cues to help you feel confident in front of the camera.
03. Can we add an engagement session?
Yes, yes, and yes! This is such a fun way for us to get to know each other and get comfortable working together. Think of it as a practice session for your wedding day -you’ll experience what it is like being behind the camera and get to know my posing style.
04. Can you offer location suggestions?
Yes! I would be happy to provide location guidance and suggestions for your engagement session. When it comes to coordinating the sunset, high/low tide, and the weather… it can be a tricky balance to find the perfect spot. Fortunately, I have several favorite locations that are tried and true.
05. We are from out of state but want to meet you before our wedding day. Can we make that happen?
Of course and I really recommend that we do. The easiest way to do this is by booking an engagement session because you will also get to know my photography style at the same time.
06. Do you travel?
I serve all of New England and have photographed weddings from Bar Harbor to Cape Cod. If it is within driving distance, I am there. However, if you are planning an event outside of New England, it doesn’t hurt to inquire… just in case.
07. Are you insured?
Yes, I have full liability and property insurance. I am happy to provide a copy to your venue or planner.
08. Will you help me create a timeline?
If you aren’t working with a planner, I am happy to put together a photography timeline for your wedding day. A photography specific timeline will ensure we have time for every “must-have” shot, & coordinate your portrait sessions with the light.
09. Can I order print products from you?
Absolutely. Several of my collections already include prints and an album because I am passionate about getting your images off the screen and making them beautifully tangible. If you are interested in additional prints, an album, or companion album, I am happy to help.
10. How far in advance should we book you?
Because I take a limited number of weddings, I recommend securing your date as soon as possible. I book dates up to two years in advance and am currently taking bookings for 2021 and 2022. If you are ready to get started, let’s chat.
